BAND INFORMATION, MEETINGS, SCHEDULES, SCHEDULE CHANGES, BAND EVENTS!
The KHS Band uses Alertify, an automated system, to contact members in case of weather delays/cancellations, rehearsal/event changes, meetings and last minute updates. This system simultaneously contacts each band parent to phone numbers and email addresses you provide (home, work without extensions, cells). It is a very successful method of communicating.
Please download and complete the form HERE .with all of the preferred contact information and send along with the band fee payment. We collect the forms and payments before band camp to notify any last minute changes of scheduled rehearsals and to ensure there are enough uniforms and shoes for the season. Please print clearly so we can be sure we have the correct information! If, at any time, your contact information changes please contact Jackie Lawson @ 845.338.0127 or firstname.lastname@example.org
We would like to offer our congratulations to the entire KHS "Tiger" Marching Band for winning the New York State Field Band Conference, Large School 3, State Championship! What an accomplishment!! This championship is an outstanding example of collaboration and group effort. The individual students put in countless hours of rehearsal, sectionals, and individual practice. Our section leaders all did great work leading their groups. The drum majors provided great leadership for the rest of the students, and Dan was absolutely amazing on the podium. The staff worked hard to provide well planned and organized instruction. Our truck driver, Tom Longendyke, and equipment parents were with us at ?every turn? to get the band on and off the field. Last, but not least, the KHS Band Boosters; this amazing parent organization is always ready to do whatever it takes to help the band succeed. This entire organization has been inspiring us since the beginning of the summer. We?re extremely proud of this season?s accomplishments!!
